Buffer Festival is a three-day event which celebrates YouTube content in theatres across Toronto. It is host to theatrical screenings, video premieres, parties, red carpet events, and more.

Pre-sale ticket packs are being sold to those that want early access to screening and seat selection. Pre-sale tickets are on sale now, and purchasers will be able to select their screenings on August 12, 2014. Pre-sale ticket packs are available in 3, 6, and 9 ticket increments.General and individual tickets go on sale August 19, 2014.

Pre-sale ticket holders will be first to select their screenings, and first to select their seats.

Seating

seatingBuffer Festival is pleased to offer complimentary seat selection, new for this year. Seat selection allows us to reduce wait times and line-ups during the Festival.

Ticket packs are currently available for pre-sale, and purchasers will be able to select their individual screenings and seats on August 12, 2014.

Tickets, screenings, and seats will be made available for general purchase on August 19, 2014.

Screenings

screeningsBuffer Festival will be host to over 40 theatrical screenings, each approximately 90 minutes in length.

The festival offers two types of screenings:
Genre screenings highlight YouTube content across a common theme (examples: viral videos, science & education, short films)
Creator screenings that showcase bodies of work from YouTube creators (examples: Shay Carl, JacksGap, Rhett & Link).

Meet-ups will be available for select screenings as indicated in the screening title. Meet-ups are only available to ticket holders of that corresponding screening. Screening information and schedule will be released August 19, 2014. Meet-ups are limited to the amount of seats available at the screening. You must have a ticket to the screening to attend the meet-up. These meet-ups will be held in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (North Building).

The shows will take place in beautiful theatres around the downtown entertainment district of Toronto. Each theatre is within walking distance of each other and hotels.

On the 3-5 minute walk between theatres, you’ll be greeted with all aspects of the 4th largest city in North America. Canada’s largest city, with its rich history, convenient public transportation, and seemingly endless amounts of restaurants and coffee shops, is the perfect backdrop for a festival as unique as Buffer Festival. Any amendments will be updated on this website. Code of Conduct and Event Policies will be prominently displayed and made available on-site at Buffer Festival 2014.
